Hobsons Bay goes off the grid with more power outages

Residents and businesses went off the grid on Thursday night with multiple power outages reported across Hobsons Bay.

The first outage was reported around 7pm with electricity distributor Jemena confirming problems in Williamstown North.

The second outage was reported around 10pm with electricity distributor Powercor confirming problems in Altona, Altona North, Altona Meadows, Seaholme and Seabrook.

There were approximately 1,365 customers off supply throughout the outage, but thankfully distributors were able to restore power, which came back prior to their 2am estimated time of restoration.
