Woman wanted after Spotswood theft and deceptions


Victoria Police is appealing for public assistance to help identify a woman who may be able to assist detectives with their investigation into an alleged theft in Spotswood and subsequent deceptions in February this year.

It is believed the offender stole a black phone and credit card from a worker’s shed at Donald McLean Reserve in Spotswood between 8.45am and 9.10am on Tuesday 19 February.

Detectives have been able to confirm that the same stolen credit card was then fraudulently used at four different stores across Spotswood, Yarraville and Maribyrnong on the same day.

The women is caucasion in appearance, approximately 20 to 25 years old, with a solid build and short blonde hair with black regrowth. She was wearing black shorts, a grey everlast jumper and black Nike runners.
