Police appeal for information after Laverton hit and run


Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a hit and run in Laverton on September 23, involving an unknown vehicle and a bicycle which collided on Point Cook Road Overpass at the Central Avenue roundabout about 11.45am.

Passers-by located the 62-year-old male rider lying on the road next to his bike. The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening back and shoulder injuries. The vehicle involved left the scene and is yet to be located.

Police are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at the Crime Stoppers website.
