Summer Sounds Music Festival returns to Hobsons Bay in 2018

The Summer Sounds Music Festival will return to Hobsons Bay in 2018, with the annual festival ensuring locals and visitors can head to Hobsons Bay parks on almost any weekend in January or February to enjoy music.

Presented by Hobsons Bay City Council, the festival’s line-up for next year includes multi ARIA award winners The Audreys, number one selling iTunes blues artist Benny Walker, Indian drummers Jana Garjana Dhol Pathak and R’n’B soul singer Johnny Rollins.

Kindie-rockers The Mudcakes will also feature with other artists including Brazilian carnival inspired NEDA All Colour Project, jazz swingers Newport Gypsy Djangos, alt-folk-pop band Teeny Tiny Stevies, rockabilly Rrrrrrockets, punk rockers Jungle Cuffs, alt-rock group Hollow December and indie outfit Plaza-trg.

Each event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the afternoon sun, kick back, and take in some easygoing, family-friendly entertainment. Bring a rug, picnic, deckchair, hat and sunscreen, and enjoy hearing some of Australia’s best musicians as if they were playing in your backyard.
