Hobsons Bay to celebrate Neighbourhood House Week 2018

Hobsons Bay will celebrate Neighbourhood House Week 2018, with a number of local events throughout the week from April 30 to May 6.

Neighbourhood House Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the role of neighbourhood houses in the community.

As inclusive places, anyone and everyone is welcome at neighbourhood houses and members of the community are encouraged to get involved in their management and use.

Neighbourhood Houses are real hubs of the community, places where friendships are formed and nurtured, and where people can really feel that they belong.

This year’s theme ‘Belonging’ reflects on the role that neighbourhood houses play in offering a welcoming space so that members of community feel a part of something.
